Release Onboard Template Configuration to Employees

The Release Onboard Employee Configuration to Employees is HR releases the employee profile so that the employee can enter their own personal, professional, and statutory details directly through the Self-Service portal. 

1. HR Creates or Preloads the Basic Employee Record

  • HR adds basic data like Employee ID, Name, Designation, Department, Location, etc.

  • This is the minimum information required to initiate the profile.

2. HR “Releases” the Employee Profile

  • When HR releases the profile, it means the system unlocks the employee’s self-service access.

  • After release, the employee can start filling in their remaining details.

This is needed because the system only allows employees to update their details after HR confirms the basic setup.

To view the Release Employee Profile Configuration page, Login to SPARC > Menu > HR > Employee Maintenance > Create Employee Basic Profile > Then click on Release Employee Configure.

  • Login to SPARC as HR / Admin
  • Open the Employee Maintenance menu. Here you can see all the Employee details.
  • Firstly create the Employee profile with basic information by clicking on '+Add Employee'. A Screen opens with basic  employee details are filled as shown below screen.
