APPRAISAL

Appraisal, also known as performance appraisal or performance review, is a systematic and formal assessment of an employee's job performance. This process is typically conducted by a manager, or employer to evaluate an employee's contributions, achievements, strengths, weaknesses, and overall effectiveness in their role. The primary goals of an employee appraisal are to provide feedback, set goals for improvement, and make decisions related to career development, promotions, salary adjustments, or other employment-related matters.
