Billing To-Do List through widget

The Billing To-Do List through widget provides a consolidated view of all upcoming billing tasks related to engagements. It helps users manage pending invoices and take timely action such as review, editing, or deletion.

Purpose of the widget :
  • Track and act upon upcoming billing items for each engagement

  • Quickly identify which items are pending for review or approval

  • Provide action buttons to either Review or Delete the billing entry

Using the widget :
  • Helps users instantly track upcoming billing actions

  • Serves as a reminder to bill before due dates

  • Clicking on a widget engagement will open the same review screen as the "Review" button in the main Billing To-Do list

To view the Billing To-Do widget, Login to BizOps > Dashboard > Billing To-Do Widget > Click on Enlarge.

As soon as you open the Billing To-Do page, you will see a list of pending billing items. At the top of the page, there's a header titled "Billing To-Do List for the Next ___ Days." You can enter a number of days (e.g., 15) to view bills that are due within that period. After entering the number, click the "Re-load" button to filter and refresh the list accordingly.

The billing schedules list contains the columns and the column details are explained below:

StatusIndicates the billing state – e.g., TO-DO, Draft.
Engagement IDUnique identifier for the engagement (e.g., ENG/36)
OwnerThe user or team responsible for billing (e.g., DRj - BLR)
CustomerCustomer to whom the billing is associated
CurrencyCurrency used for the transaction (INR, GBP,  etc.)
ValueThe total value of the billable item (may show unit value or total)
# of ItemsNumber of billable service items under the engagement (e.g., 2 NOS)
DateBilling due date
Progress Indicator (e.g., 0/3)Shows how many items have been billed vs. how many remain
Review ButtonOpens the billing screen to view/edit billing line items for that engagement
Delete ButtonAllows you to remove a billing task from the To-Do list. When clicked, a confirmation popup appears. In this popup, you can choose to delete either the entire billing or specific billing items. Once selected, confirm the deletion to proceed.
